The Columbus UK service team and our partners, Wasserschmidt have completed the installation of a water recycling system at the brand new Audi Worthing dealership.
The Columbus UK installation team arrived on site early Monday morning with expectations of completing the installation by the end of the week.
In preparation for the team’s visit, Columbus UK technical team had already liaised with the design architect and groundwork’s team to ensure all relevant ducts, pipework, underground tanks, water & power connections were in place.
In preparation for the installation teams arrival, delivery of the water clarifying units pumps, blowers & above ground pipe work were delivered to site the previous week.
UNDERGROUND PITS- patented Bio-carriers
The engineers are working hard on positioning the clarifier system, which is the final stage of the recycling process. The installation team then moved on to where the magic happens, the underground pits are prepared with oxygen aeration, bio-carrier, level sensors, pipework and submersible pumps. The patented Bio-carriers remove oils and grease from the water in preparation of the water being sent to the final clarifier.
The installation has been completed on time, and these pictures are of the final hand over to Audi, which included operator training and an understanding of how the system works. Expected water saving of up to 95% and a guarantee of no wastewater discharge penalties.
